Greetings:
It's hard to believe that forty four years ago we were starting our last year in high school. Hopefully, we'll all be celebrating our 45th Class Reunion next year somewhere in Lansing.
Hope everyone had a great summer. Here in Topeka, we didn't have the hot summer days as we've had in the past which is nice. Also, we've been lucky not to have experienced quite the turn down in the economy as many of the other areas of the country, expecially Michigan.
As far as the muic scene is concerned in Topeka, Kerry Livgren, former member of Kansas and the songwriter of "Dust in the Wind" suffered a stroke and is recovering slowly, Andy McKee, http://www.andymckee.com, world renowned guitarist, begins his touring in Europe in a week, and a member of the Faris Family is touring with Ricky Skaggs.
Hopefully, Michigan State University and the Detroit Lions win this year along with the Kansas City Chiefs...
